Mary Downey retires, June 10th 2025

We wanted to take this opportunity to announce that Mary Downey, Financial Advisor, will be retiring from Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, LLC on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Mary has devoted the past 45 years to the financial services industry, consistently demonstrating dedication to her clients and unwavering support for our community. A cornerstone of the Macomb office, Mary built lasting relationships by treating every client like family—always offering guidance, care, and respect.

Mary’s love for working with her clients has made the decision to retire a difficult one. Recognizing the importance of a seamless transition, she began assembling a trusted team over three years ago to help ensure her clients would continue to receive the exceptional service they have come to expect. After personally introducing clients to the team and helping the team get to know and understand the clients, Mary is confident that now is the right time to step away.

As she enters this exciting new chapter, Mary is looking forward to spending more time with her children and grandchildren and traveling with Aaron. Just as she has helped so many clients prepare for retirement, she is now ready to embrace this milestone herself.

We are deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in Mary, our team, and our practice over the years. If you see her around town, please take a moment to congratulate her and wish her well.

Moving forward, Lauren Kane will continue to serve clients daily from the Macomb office, alongside Kassie Wollbrink, Client Associate. Patrick Rowland, Jacob Sullivan, and Jesse Dale will be working in Macomb on a biweekly rotation. Our support team, including Pam Shubert and BJ Davis, Client Associates, and Ashley Black, Financial Advisor, will also remain dedicated to assisting our clients. Our team is comprised of talented and credentialed wealth management professionals devoted to serving a variety of clients with unique needs and goals. With this strong and qualified team in place, we are confident clients will experience a smooth and consistent continuation of service.

Once again, thank you for your continued trust. Please join us in celebrating Mary and all that she has accomplished—we wish her the very best in her well-earned retirement.
